Don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this was about the poorest bike shop I have been in.Needed sealant as I was on a ride and had to plug my tyre. So I limped about 20 mins to the shop.The young guy working was nice, felt bad for him. First off he didn’t know if they had any. When we found some, I asked did he have a syringe injector. Nope. How about a valve core remover? Nope. How about a pair of pliers? Nope. He said all the tools were at their other shop.Finally we found an adjustable spanner. Seemed that was the only tool they had. Not a great way to try and remove a valve core.Charged me $20, didn’t break the price down, but I am guessing some of that was for the labour??It seemed like he wasn’t expecting anyone to actually come into the shop, and certainly not anyone who needed any kind of mechanical services.So to whoever owns or manages the shop, a basic set of tools really helps when customers come in for service

Awesome bike shop with a huge selection of great gear to keep you rolling.All the staff ride and it shows products they stock, everything is hand picked and tried and tested for quality and durability - they have all the best brands in one place, awesome.Bike servicing has been great with these guys, whether it’s a tick tick tick or a creaky crank they are all over it, nothing is too much trouble.Customer service is always second to none with no nonsense expert advice on the best gear for what you need, tried and tested on the hundreds of k’s of local trails.If this place isn’t your local bike shop, it should be!

Exceptional service from the Bike Shed, enquired about a Shingleback trolley stand and they indicated that they would call me once they received stock a few days later. Called on the day they said they would and even arranged personal delivery a few days later as they were in the area! Couldn’t ask for better service or nicer people to deal with!

Dropped in to borrow a tool while riding the gravel bike to Bakers Hill and back a couple of weeks ago and they were very lovely and helpful. Went back to buy a new cassette from them the other day and very good service again. They got me in a hard to find part at short notice at a good price which I really appreciate. They also carry a great selection of parts and high quality accessories. Highly recommend this store, I'll be heading back there again for sure.

Cheers for helping my friend and I out when we needed it. Even though we were on dualsport dirt bikes, the lads here helped out with puncture kits and even had a motorcycle work stand handy. Had some pretty nice bicycles and parts here too.

The first time I went to this bike shop, I was extremely excited about having a bike shop in the hills. The first few times you go there the prices are relativley fair but the more times you go there it starts getting more and more expensive. I got my shock serviced and they charged me $300 and when I got home adjuster screws just fell off. I took it back to get fixed and they tried to charge me an extra $70 eventhough it was their mistake. I have also noticed that when you ask for something done, for example truing a wheel, they also replace other parts that you did not ask for such as brake pads and then charge you for them. I know it sounds like I am out to get the bike stable, but I am just thoroughly dissapointed that we still dont have an affordable, reliable and trustworthy bike shop in the hills. Just my two cents for ya.
