Bike Time

Absolutely atrocious behaviour from the owner of the store, shouting , not being polite and didn’t even repair my bike properly and expected payment. I couldn’t even see any grease on the chain, and it was meant to be fully serviced. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I needed a new bike and I was attracted to Evan’s Bike Time from the rave reviews. So I started my recon by having my kids’ bikes serviced. Evan sorted new tyres and adjusted their brakes within 24 hours for a very reasonable price and I was stoked. I was in the hunt for a basic mountain bike for myself and there was no up-sell from Evan whatsoever. He happily let me test ride a couple of bikes and he offered me better than average prices compared to the competition (I had visited three other stores). I had a million questions and he was a fount of knowledge. I visited his store over several visits in making up my mind, and on Evan’s day off, I had the pleasure of meeting his offsider, Rick. He was an absolute gentlemen and it was clear that these two men were cut from the same cloth; straight talking, honest, decent blokes. Dealing with Evan (and Rick) was an absolute pleasure, and I’m a customer for life.

Took my 20-year-old seriously neglected mountain bike to Bike Time yesterday for an assessment, expecting to be told it wasn't worth repairing and encouraged to buy a new one (as had happened elsewhere). Evan took one look and said no problem, we'll have you back on the road ready for another 20 years. Picked it up later the same day all sorted, fully repaired and serviced, and at quarter the price of even an entry-level replacement. Fantastic service - won't go anywhere else now.

We went out today just to look at bikes for our daughters birthday in June. We first went into Bike Time where Evan was very friendly and informative about his products. We did not buy as we always like to shop around and do plenty of research. We spent most of the afternoon looking at all the other bikes available but none of them stood up to the quality of the bike that we saw at Bike Time. Although the bike in Bike Time was more expensive the quality and fit to our 10 year old was paramount. We then went back to Bike Time to purchase the bike and we struck an amazing deal with Evan which made our purchase all the more pleasurable. We now have an amazing bike for our 10 year old (who is ecstatic with her new bike and cant get off it now) but also we can take the bike into the shop as and when we like, over the next 12 months, for Evan to cast his professional eye over and make any maintenance adjustments as necessary. Also we are very happy about the lifetime guarantee that we got as well.If anyone is looking to buy a bike for any reason I highly recommend you go to Bike Time and see Evan. Such an amazing person with the knowledge to give you peace of mind that you are getting quality at a great price.Thank You Evan for everything and we will definitely be back for another bike when our youngest is a bit taller and ready for a new one.

It had taken me well over half an hour to unscrew enough of my grand-daughter's bike to render it unusable. It took Evan only 1.5 minutes to save my life by putting it back together again. Tremendous service and with a smile. I can't fault this guy and would recommend him to anyone needing a new bike or a quick repair. Well done, Evan. I shall live to see Scotland again.

Took my bike in for a service. Expected to wait a few days. About 3 hours later got the call to pick it up. Job done. Running beautifully. No surprises with the account. Very happy. These guys are very professional and offer great customer service.

After calling several bike shops to get my mountain bike serviced only to be told their workshops are closed to assemble bikes for Xmas. One could've done it but not for 2 weeks. So i called Bike Time and he said not a problem bring it in tomorrow and it will be ready the same day. Took it in and it was ready in an 1.5 hours! And it rode like new! And they cleaned it. Excellent service and expertise. Don't bother with any other bike shops. Will definitely be using Bike Time in the future.

Probably the best customer service I've experienced. The guy was patient, friendly, gave good advice and the store was well stocked. Couldn't ask for more.

Have been a customer here for 16 years. Never had a bad experience or a bad buy. Always helpful and friendly. Warren makes the best recommendations for the individual and has kitted out me and my family with all our bikes and accessories. Really happy with my new Apollo even if she suffered a puncture on her maiden voyage (clearly neither the bikes fault or the stores). Thanks again guys love your work.

We bought two bikes at this shop. Very happy with th purchases. Great Bloke, very friendly & knows his stuff. Think I'll do my future shopping here .... :) :)
